Harvesting Story
This lumber was salvaged after tree removal. The log was then milled to various thicknesses, kiln-dried and planed on two sides.
Notes
This wood is dense and heavy, with grain similar to Red Oak. Color runs from creamy white to pink and mauve. Fairly rot-resistant. Other thicknesses: 6/4, 8/4. Call for pricing and availability.
I purchased some Quartersawn White Oak from you guys a month or so back and thought you'd like to use the photos for your website. I built a mission style desk with 5/4 for the top and mortise and tenon joinery throughout. It came our very pretty with very attractive flecking patterns.
