Harvesting Story
This walnut came from behind an older home on the north side of Ann Arbor, Mi. It was a lot of extra work salvaging the logs, but well worth it. These boards are straight-grained, some with sapwood on edges, most without. It’s very nice to work with.

Harvesting Story
This lumber was salvaged after tree removal. The log was then milled to various thicknesses, kiln-dried and planed on two sides.
Notes
This wood is dense and heavy, with grain similar to Red Oak. Color runs from creamy white to pink and mauve. Fairly rot-resistant. Other thicknesses: 6/4, 8/4. Call for pricing and availability.

Harvesting Story
These slabs were milled from a huge Catalpa tree we removed from a residential lot in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Notes
These three large Catalpa slabs measure roughly 2 1/2” thick, 36” wide and 88” tall. The slabs have been kiln dried, surfaced and sanded to 120 grit. These would be great for Nakashima-style tables, bar tops and desk tops, etc. Local delivery and shipping available. Two other Catalpa slabs are also available: $850 and $575.
